More about your entertainers:


Jacob Barr began doing stand up in 2015 while still in high school. Barr uses his unique perspective on life to entertain audiences across the Midwest and beyond. He plays colleges and recently headlined The Detroit House of Comedy. Barr has opened for comics such as Big Jay Oakerson, Joe List and Chris Gethard.

Jake Russell is a comedian, improviser, amd writer. He is the creator of the Stand up/Improv show, "I ain't no Joke" and the one-man show, "Birth of a Ho-ass Nation." He's opened for Fred Armisen and Zarna Garg. He's also a sneaker enthusiast.

Drew Harmon, a comedian and former TV weatherman who spent more than a decade in San Francisco before moving to Detroit to be closer to family and snow. Once called, "Dan Harmon" by the SF Weekly, Drew has actually not written a network TV show but has performe at clu8bs and comedy festivals all over the country, including the San Francisco Punch Line, The Stand in New Yor City, the Comedy Castle in Detroit and more. Drew does not have a podcast, bt if you approach him after a show he'll be happy to discuss which online mattress service he prefers.


and your host, Shelly Smith, who has been producing comedy and music events in Michigan for two decades. She is the host and MC of the long running Ebirds and Friends Holiday Show and 50 First Jokes, as well as the host and producer of the Reads and Weeds podcast.
