A free group walk to support better behavior—and a great organization!

Want to help your dog walk more calmly on a leash and support a cause that helps people and pets in need? Join us for a special edition of our trainer-led community dog walk, where you’ll get real-world leash training practice and have the chance to support Pawsitive Effects, a nonprofit dedicated to helping dogs in need in Highlands County.

This relaxed group walk isn’t just a casual stroll—it’s a chance to gently train your dog in a real-life setting, meet other local dog lovers, and give back to the community.

🐶 What to Expect:

  • A trainer-led walk on public sidewalks at a group pace
  • Tips on leash handling, calmness, and engagement around distractions
  • Encouragement and gentle guidance—no pressure, no judgment
  • A chance to donate (optional but appreciated!) to Pawsitive Effects
  • In addition to voluntary participant donations, Brook's Dog Training Academy will also contribute to Pawsitive Effects based on the number of people and dogs who register and show up to the event.

💬 Why Join?

  • Practice makes progress
  • Build better leash manners, confidence, and focus
  • Connect with other pet parents and contribute to a worthy cause
  • It’s free, friendly, and full of feel-good impact!

Space is limited to keep things safe and manageable, so please register in advance. Donations are welcome but not required to attend.
