Why This Matters

My journey has been filled with hardship, from battling blood cancer to experiencing medical malpractice that nearly cost me my life. Through The Recovery Room, I am using my voice to advocate for better healthcare, mental health awareness, and trauma recovery. This event is an opportunity for all of us to come together, share stories, and create lasting change.

As part of my cancer treatment, I travel to Vancouver every two weeks for chemotherapy, which requires accommodation, travel, and medical expenses. Your support through this event helps sustain both my journey and the broader mission of The Recovery Room podcast.
