The Elusive Clam is the best pirate ship on the seven seas— and them being women ain’t got nothing to do with it! With the winds to guide their way, surely everything will go according to plan, or so they hope. In the tradition of classic pirate stories like “Treasure Island”, we bring you a tale that both embraces and inverts all the tropes! 

Join us for a rollicking reading and sea-shanty sing-a long at Big Bear cafe, and we’ll lift a glass to famous lady pirates of yore!

Our reading will conclude with a talk from a representative from smyal, an organization that supports & empowers LGBTQ+ youth. 25% of our ticket sales will go directly to smyal to aid in their mission.
